A Quick Thanks from Thomas!
So, like aforementioned in my last post, I planned to sit down with Thomas
and read through the guestbook entries with him. Sometimes it seems like he
has a hard time reacting to praise. I asked him how he felt and he gave me
one word answers like ‘good’ and ‘nice’.
So, since he wasn’t feeling too talkative, I figured a couple pictures instead
would do a better job of talking for him:

We did read through every guestbook entry (and continue to.) I’ll be answering
them as time permits. If I don’t get to yours, rest assured we did read it… just am
a bit overwhelmed at the moment.

Thanks again for stopping by and sharing your thoughts and stories. After so many
years of fighting to get Thomas a diagnosis and now finally making progress as well
as speaking up about the condition, it’s an incredible feeling to connect with other
people who can totally relate.
I think it's great that you blog about your son, and that WoW is helping him improve his circumstances
I read the article on WoW.com, and then came over here and read all your posts, and I just think it's great. I first started playing WoW at his age, and as a young boy I loved it! I'm now a teenager and still continue to play with great happiness, and I just wanted to say, well done
As a parent, I have to admire your intelligent operation of watching what your son does online, as well as the work with behavioral contracts and efforts to just be someone who watches out for what they do. And I'm tremendously glad that he's doing well, and hope for all the best things for you.
Keep up the great work, and all the best to you and the family in the future.
Thanks
Awesome stuff!! very glad to see a positive spin on a game that mostly gets negative attention.
Good job!!
PS he is a cute kid =)
I think it is great that as a family you have found something positive form a video game to help Thomas learn and grow.
Saw the post on massively. Just want to drop by and say good luck!
Good luck to both of you!! My girls love to watch me play (but I'm not allowed to kill any animals, just "bad guys" that are red.
I hope when they get older they'll have some interest in the old man's hobby…
Anyway, great blog.
Go Merve!!
Keep up the good work Thomas! We love you
